유해물질관리

We strive to create safe products for humans and the environment.

In order to develop and produce products that are not harmful to the human body and the environment, we have established and are operating a hazardous substance management program and process. We will continue to strive to create products that are safe for the human body and the environment by proactively responding to changes in domestic and international laws and regulations related to hazardous substances.

QSI operates a program to manage hazardous substances from the partner selection stage to the mass production stage in order to respond to domestic and international environmental regulations such as EU RoHS* and REACH**, which restrict the use of certain hazardous substances.

1
RoHS (The Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment): Regulations that restrict the use of substances hazardous to humans,
such as lead, mercury, and cadmium.
2
REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of CHemicals): European Union's regulatory system for chemicals
3
Other new regulated substances: Diethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP, Bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate), Benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP), Dibutyl phthalate (DBP, Dibutyl phthalate), Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP)
